Publication of WHO commissioned study on health impacts of mercury in Artisanal and Small-Scale Gold Mining

The WHO-commissioned study "Mercury Exposure and Health Impacts among Individuals in the Artisanal and Small-Scale Gold Mining Community: A Comprehensive Review" has been published in Environmental Health Perspectives. The findings of this study, summarized for decision makers, were presented at the Conference of Plenipotentiaries for the Minamata Convention on Mercury in Kumamoto in October 2014, and published on the WHO website.
